Re: EFK vs Jarvis

Jay, thank you for the info. Unless Jarvis has fixed this it appears I need to get an EFK barrel. Polishing a chamber is doable but adding material where it's been milled is beyond my ability. Maybe Jarvis has fixed these issues, perhaps someone will have some input on a recent production Jarvis bar...

Re: EFK vs Jarvis

Jay, thank you very much for the comparison review of these replacement barrels. Your review is timely as a new barrel is in my future. You mention "The net affect is the EFK is a much higher quality product at every level in addition to a better chamber." What makes the chamber better? Your comment...

Re: Hornady case trimmer problems solved!!

:furious: Get them while they are hot and new! Just got off the phone with Lonny at Hornady and they are making up a batch of 5.7x28 shellholders for their trimmer. The cost will be $8.17 ea, [the normal Hornady #37, {5.7x28} shellholder is $5 he said]. Hornady will be adding this modified 5.7x28 sh...

Re: Alliant Bullseye 5.7 reloading thread

 Great! It looks like Bullseye works in the USG pistol and rifle when used in moderation. Sounds like a nearly ideal plinking and everyday hunting round. Guess we learn something more about this cartridge all the time. There must be other powders we have overlooked. Hum.. :ponder: I am using t...

Elite's custom 5.7 x 28 Lee dies are excellent but I don't know if they are still available.

ArmaLaser told me to send in my non working RSS laser with $35 to get a new stingray, ($29 exchange fee and $6 shipping). Hope to get my stingray soon.

$139 must be the price, period, non holiday or holiday, for now anyways.

Re: Traded up and went to the 10mm, your thoughts?

Karbuv, I didn't notice the Glock 29 on the site that you referred to. The 29 is the compact 10mm isn't it? It is not listed on the drop down or in the add text so it must not be offered. My Glock is a 20SF. The G29 is the "10mm Glock compact" and is about an inch or 7/8 shorter in length and barre...

Re: Traded up and went to the 10mm, your thoughts?

Just a perspective here, not trying to be mean, contary, devisive or such: It's not out of the question to call Elite a factory. With the increased online sales and reduced ammo on shelves, suppliers of ammo and related services like Elite are specifically the new micro factories. Factories like Eli...

Re: Stingray Laser for the FiveSeven?

I may be getting some hands on experience with this new Stingray SR1 Laser as my Arma Laser RSS has stopped working. Perhaps they will let me trade it in or trade it up for the stingray laser. $139 is the current price for the Stingray SR1. [Holiday price I think] Link below where I found the price....

Re: Stingray Laser for the FiveSeven?

:( Beware I see some good and bad points! This new stingray may be fine, I like it's tactile switch instead of the touch switch Arma Laser uses on other lasers. I don't like it using a 386 battery because they tend to be more expensive and not sold in multipacks. {I think 301 batteries may be subsit...

Re: Are our weapons already being registered?

Good Question. It would be easy to do. Many stores and FFL's are now completing the form on their computers with a program. Seems that might make it even easier for the information to be "shared" with others. :ponder:

Global Warming Coverup By Scientists Discovered

:wall: Caught! Seems the Pro Global Warming Scientists have been caught in a coverup. They have destroyed and/or withheld data that proves Global Warming wrong. Personal attacks on peers who question Global Warming are also includded in their unethical actions. :puke: It appears there is no end of t...
