ps90 rare?? odd hammer pack (with pics)

Post by outdoorsmen007 » 21 Apr 2012, 08:54

I'm building my own ps90 and bought a hammer pack yesterday, but it seems odd, I think its a gen 1 but its different than all the ones I see or read about on the web. I can take a picture if needed but let me try to explain first. The pack is all black with front sear and hammer is kinda a burnt orange-brown , lower sear is kinda grey but darker and burnt around the edges not the od green one and not the newer grey kind,
This unit is breand new never used and was going to use it but it looks like it might be somithing specal,
thanks for any remarks.. :patriot:

Interesting!

What do the manufacturing date markings indicate?

The only markings are on the hammer indicate a arrow pointing at 12. The other thing besides the color of the hammer and sear, the body is almost a deep blue when next to the stock of a ps90. Also the pin in picture 3 has a dimmple for a punch, that one holds the sear in place.

It's burnt orange.

Sell it to me, I don't care what gen it is.

I don't even own a PS90. :D

I'm not really sure what it is, but I wish it were mine to wonder about.

Wonder if someone could have been playing with a 3D printer?
.... but that wouldn't explain the '12 o'clock' marking.

I'm not obsessed with burnt orange.

And please don't start all that nonsense with school rivalry. I'm good friends with the A&M shooting team and they are great folks. I have no animosity towards A&M. However, A&M college kids always seem to have a problem with UT. They come to party with us wearing their A&M shirts. We're still friendly to them. This would not be the case vice-versa.

Just kidding around with you Blue. Have to sneak the last few in before A&M and UT never see each other again (this is the last weekend we play again each other in any sport for the foreseeable future).

That is an interesting problem though, any chance you can compare the weight to another and see if it is a different material? Not sure what that would tell you but I'm just curious.

Does the weapon dump a mag with one trigger pull? LOL! (Sorry had to ask)
My guess is someone broke and orginal part and had something made or its a replacement part from FN, maybe?

No it happens. All FsN USG's look the same inside right? Wrong after all the USG's we have seen around here there are countless different internals from different sub contractors.
