Fracken Obama Ads

Post by mickey223 » 14 Oct 2008, 13:54

Has this guy blanketed every media outlet with his ads?

I see them on myspace, facebook, foxnews, msnbc, even my dishnetwork has an entire channel devoted to Barak Obama's plan for America.

Almost every web page in the mainstream I visit has an ad on its front page. I keep waiting for it to show up on the 57forum frontpage.

Never in a million years.

We don't use 3rd party ads like google ads like most websites use.

This is one of the few "Free" forums left to the people, where "Freedom still Rings". I'm sure he will never have any ads here.

Political tags — such as royalist, communist, democrat, populist, fascist, liberal, conservative,
and so forth — are never basic criteria. The human race divides politically into those who want
people to be controlled and those who have no such desire.

I'm just sick of him.
I hear people talk at cafes about how they can't believe the polls, they can't believe his popularity, etc. I also hear horrible things about how they have pools at work on how long he'll last before some boogar munching moron makes an attempt on his life.
It's scary. I don't want him in office as much as anybody, and it sickens me how low the Democrats are willing to stoop to steal an election, but to think that people are willing to place bets on how long he would last? :( What have we come to?

as far as the assasintation factor i think that would be VERY bad for us. Think about it, Obama(very bad) goes then we have Biden(very very bad) then if he goes we have...........................Pelosi(Hell)

It would be awful difficult to assasinate a president nowadays. Hinkley was very lucky on his attempt on Reagan, but the SS has learned to be a lot more vigilant and keep crowds at a greater distance.

It was a long time between Lincoln and Kennedy and a long till Regan. The world and most all the US was different then. Today, with the wackos and sickos out there, an assasination attempt or completion I think is possible. I'm sure extra measures are all ready in place. I know I wouldn't want to be on his protection team right now.

Just for a reality check, if he were president and were killed, you would (a) end up with President Biden or President Pelosi, depending on their status, and (b) Statues of the guy would grow faster than crab grass.

You think this guy has weird followers NOW? Imagine them worshipping a dead messiah. No thanks, I'd wish him health if he were elected. We don't need the consiquences of a martyred socialist. His face is already on flags and t-shirts, if he's elected let him run a term, damage the nation, and vote him out 4 years later.

But as to the original topic, those ads drive me nuts too :)

I'm with ya mickey. If McCain has proven anything, it's that the heart and soul of the rep party is/was the conservative base. If he McCain wins, great, if not, get someone on the ticket who can galvanize voters.

Obama Ads Invade Video Games
Tuesday , October 14, 2008

The Barack Obama presidential campaign is EVERYWHERE.

Drivers of high-performance racing cars were a bit surprised over the weekend to spot roadside billboards with the Illinois senator's familiar face on them and the message "Early Voting Has Begun. VoteForChange.com."

Not unusual, you say? Well, these were virtual billboards, on imaginary roads, driven by Xbox 360 players in an online version of the popular racing video game "Burnout Paradise."

Game maker Electronic Arts confirmed Monday that the Obama campaign ads were the real deal.

"Like most television, radio and print outlets, we accept advertising from credible political candidates," EA spokeswoman Holly Rockwood told the tech blog GigaOm. "Like political spots on the television networks, these ads do not reflect the political policies of EA or the opinions of its development teams."

Comments from gamers were mixed.

"The McCain campaign will respond by buying ads at Pong consoles nationwide," joked one on the car blog Jalopnik.

"You can't even PAY for a video game without being pummeled with ads," complained another.

"Wait ... can't you drive through the billboards in Burnout?" asked a third.

Paying to see Obama ads? I am not buying a computer game until long after the election! I would be mad as hell! If they allowed returns I would return it, if not - its target practice.

They have no clue about how he's going to take this country far, far down the road of socialism and state control.

The one good thing about a Democratic WH and Congress is that they will be fully accountable for the crap they cause (they won't be able to point fingers at anyone but themselves). That being said, my fear is that there are too many voters who will be too stupid to see all of the carnage...or that the Democrats caused the carnage.

When the inevitable crap hits the fan...whether it's another terrorist attack, a Russian invasion of the Ukraine, or Israel bombing Iran...it will be interesting to see how the youngster Obama reacts. I mean, there's nothing we can do...but watch and get some perverse pleasure out of watching Obama under a blistering, white-hot spotlight.

Oh yeah man...like Obama. He's so kewl. He's like for change man. He wants to change everything man. He's into Hope and Change and Hope and..stuff. Yeah man. Obama's the man. He's the dood, man.
What does he stand for though?
Change, man. And Hope.
Change for what? Hope for what?
Well, you know. Change. Hope.
Change from what? Hope for what?
Well, you know. Change. From...what is. Hope. For a better...is. You know man.
No. I don't. I mean, can you tell me EXACTLY what it is Obama wants to CHANGE?
No.
Then why would you support him?
B'cuz he ain't Bush man.
Bush isn't running again. He can't. He's already served 8 years. Otherwise, I'd vote for his old wrinkled ass again. So, tell me, if you can, why would you vote for Obama? He wants to raise taxes, upset stability in the middle east and allow the terrorist regime to take over Iraq allowing them to get a foothold in a fledgling democracy and turn it into a theocracy, he's already claimed in his book that if that happened, he would side with the Muslims, he wants to initiate a universal healthcare system and bankrupt our economy which he already did his part in destabilizing, he wants to initiate a new tax system that taxes corporations which will in turn pass these taxes on to YOU by increasing the price on goods and services that you have to purchase, he wants to limit the amount of domestic oil that we can produce thereby driving UP the price of oil and gas even higher than it already is thereby causing the price of ALL goods and services to go up even more, and yet you SUPPORT him? Is THAT the CHANGE you're talking about??

Ummm....yeah? I think so. What was the question?
Do you even go to this college?
Yeah. I live in that dorm right there.
Let me guess. Liberal arts major.
Yeah. How'd you guess?
Just lucky. Must be your first class of the day. It's almost noon...

Don't worry, if he really is the beast he will be back.

Revelation 13:3
One of its heads seemed to have a mortal wound, but its mortal wound was healed, and the whole earth marveled as they followed the beast.

Read Revelation sometime, its a good read :)

It is very scary. I've been struggling lately with all of this. Am I, as a christian, being greedy (not sure if that is the right word) for not wanting this to happen so I can continue to live my life "normally"? Or would it also be greedy (again, right word?) for me to want to push this into motion so we can just be done with this world? Is the "rapture" going to happen, so that God takes his people from this place and allow those who aren't with God go through the events laid out in Revelation?

Lots of things rushing through my head lately, and I'm kind of getting dizzy from it all.

I don't think you can "push" anything into motion. Just a theological opinion :)

If something is meant to happen by divine will it will happen, and it's my job to conduct myself as a morally upright person until it happens, if it does.

I believe, in fact, that if I were to be arrogant enough to think that *my* actions could compel or influence the grand design, I would be guilty of some pretty serious hubris. There have been plenty of accused "antichrists" throughout history. They tend to die like everyone else and rot in the earth. When it does happen 'for realz', I don't think there will be any doubt.
