Post by fzr confused » 13 Sep 2008, 07:20

i know they have the paddle style (fobus), but what about an in the pants kind? i am heading to the show today to pick up my 57 (hopefully) and was just wondering what options i have. i really dont like those universal style with the thicker padding. i like thinner ones, are there any available?

fyi, galco makes a leather holster specifically for the fiveseven. if interested i can provide the specific holster number they make. ran a google on galco and the number and it pops right up as a fiveseven holster.

I use a Galco shoulder holster for daily carry but I can't find any of the darn numbers off of the holster on the Galco site. Sometimes the holster companies drive me nuts with their odd numbering systems.

I have several custom made leather holsters from Cutt's Custom Leather. I've recommended him in several threads. His work excellent. He has even made me a holster for the USG with the lasermax mini-max. His phone number is (585) 865-8424. Talk with him regarding the style of holster you want he can make it. I've offerred to loan my gun and lasers (I also use a TLR-2) for any holster that someone orders that are from the forum. Tell him Paul told you to call.

I just got my new green lasermax in the mail today and i'm sad because my ol trusty current blackhawk holster doesn't cut the mustard anymore and was wondering which holsters would accept a 5.7 with a unimax laser install.

I get a "LEO/Old Friend" rate on prices, that's why I say ask him about prices. I have seen his stuff at a couple gun stores locally and the are way lower but with the hand made quality. What ever you chose, you won't be sorry.

I just got the Blackhawk IWB holster size 3, they make it with a positive retention and open style. I have the open style, its slim, inexpensive, and works very well. It has a flap that keeps the sights and back of the slide from rubbing into you as well.

Pretty hard to beat as far as IWB hoslters go for the price, IMO. You can get one for around $15.

Does anyone use the IWB MTAC?

http://www.comp-tac.com/catalog/product ... ucts_id=95" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I expect to be getting my MTAC in the next couple of days for my H&K PK2000SK (subcompact .40S&W) -- I bought it because many HK owners highly recommended it.

But, would like to know if anyone has one for their FiveseveN?
