Remington 700 has a history of problems with accidental discharge due to faulty trigger connector. Research specific model carefully before purchase. 308 is an excellent choice of caliber.

Fixed sights would be better for a duty pistol. More durable and doesn't have high profile flimsy flange.

Dunno $3500 is a fair price for a FsN with paint and rail mounted scope, but then Rich said he said he also polished the feed ramp. Guess Rich Wyatt from Gunsmoke didn't know the Fiveseven doesn't have a feed ramp.

That looks like what would happen if a live 9mm was in the barrel and a 40 was chambered and fired. The 40 projectile exploded the 9mm which was in the barrel, and left the 40 projectile in the barrel. Just what it looks like.
