Re: White House Petition - Gun Control
The petition is a waste of time. Lanza's despicable actions, together with the other recent shootings, have served as the catalyst that will initiate a series of knee-jerk reactions by self-serving liberals. Those actions will be widely supported in the general population because emotion always win...

Daniel Defenses torture test was a joke. Sorry. It was an advertisement, not a true torture test. I would love to see a third party do a real torture test. They have no reason to lower the price of either SCAR variant as long as people are willing to pay the asking price. There isn't some objective authority out there assigning prices. I will be succinct Well... Not really. To borrow a tactic suc·cinct 1. expressed in few words; concise; terse. 2. characterized by conciseness or verbal brevity. 3. compressed into a small area, scope, or compass. Ok, I'm just funnin'. But seriously, the problem with this is that it can be turned...

I would love to see them eventually have a parts and pieces section... Bolts, triggers, screws, etc.
But I have to say, the few times I've had to call Browning and order a part it has been quick and painless.

You have to cut it. My die is 2.045" cut and functions well. I crimp, using a modified Lee .223 "factory" crimping die. If you search for "crimping" you'll find a lot of threads where it is discussed, and people's various methods are covered.
I mostly reload 36 grain barnes varmint grenades and 40 grain hornady vmax, and crimp each.

Just spoke with an agent at the BATF Technology Branch in West Virginia who clarified unambiguously that they do indeed consider anything larger than .220" (and meeting the other criteria) as armor piercing. Don't some of the bigger manufacturers make .224 bullets that meet the AP definition above?...

its not like old school 5.56 with the black adhesive. they are glued in place. easiest way to pull themis to use a seater die to push the bullet a bid deeper in the case breaking the adhesive, thenuse a collet puller to retrieve the vmax.

I have no doubt that Obama gamed the system as a college student (as many do). If it meant going by Barry Soetoro (which he did) I wouldn't be surprised. I think the rea...
