KAHR Mk9 Size Pistol in 5.7X28mm from FNH or others?

As a what if, would anyone be interested in Kahr MK9 size pistol from FNH or others in 5.7X28mm?

I would get one in a heartbeat.

I don't want a poll but I am curious how many of you think about this for a smaller carry pistol. The argument against it is:

1. Lower magazine capacity
2. Lower velocity due to barrel length
3. Grip may be hard for those with small hands

For me none of these are an issue. A Five-SeveN is a bit large for concealed carry.

It's a full-size, forsure.

I prefer to carry a 9mm, but I've never used a compact 5.7x28mm, so I can't project/comment. After using one for a while, I might very well like to have one for carry.

I don't really think the 5.7 would lend itself to a 3" barrel. It could inflict more damage as a flame thrower, verses impact energy from the bullet.

The muzzle blast would be excessive, sort of like firing off a 7.62x25mm from something the size of a Shield or Glock 43. Beyond that, you'd lose too much muzzle velocity and it might become ballistically what the detractors call it; a souped up .22.
