Need HELP with P.M. Mailbox Function

Post by Sven » 03 Oct 2008, 11:39

I sent a P.M. to someone at Elite yesterday and the message is still sitting in my Outbox, not my Sent box.

Why would a P.M. just sit in the Outbox??? I can't get it "sent"!!

I've noticed that too, I think it stays in your outbox until the user you sent it to logs in and reads it, then it moves to your sent box.

That is correct. It is actually quite nice because you can tell when the PM has been read.

I like that feature too. I like to be able to tell when my PM is read.

Then they can't lie to you and say, "I never got it." You KNOW if they did or not.
Of course, you can't know if their memory is as sucky as mine. I can read one and forget what I just read as soon as I finish it...heheheh. Being old can be good sometimes. Especially when the Mrs. wants me to do something I really don't want to do. :p

How do you delete a pm from your inbox. I have looked, may have missed it, but can't see a delete button.
Thanks,

Bruce

There is a drop down menu at the bottom right, you have to select 'delete message' from it.

You can either type them manually or click on a smilie to the left of the reply box.

Sven & Ollie are sitting in a bar chanting “51 days.” After a while the bartender says to them, “Fellows, for the past 3 hours you have been sitting here chanting 51 days. Why?”

Sven & Ollie stop chanting and look up.

“Well,” says Sven, “we just finished a puzzle.”

“So? What does that have to do with anything?” the bartender asked.

“Ollie says,”Well the box says 3 to 5 years. We finished it in 51 days.”

No offense Sven the name just reminded me of the Sven, Lena and Ollie jokes.
In my many years I have come to a conclusion that one useless man is a shame, two is a law firm, and three or more is a congress.

Yeah he did The OP is "Sven" which reminded him of the joke.
