AR57 Full auto Bolt

Post by rsx11m » 01 Aug 2019, 19:56

I have tried every place to find a bolt for my AR 57 5.78. I believe the bolt slip out of the back during my recent move and is floating around some place in my household goods. I would advise everyone that has this ar57 upper to at least put tape across the back of the bolt in order to keep it from sliding out when not attached to a lower. Getting desperate I have something I cannot use I'm willing to pay $750 for a full-bolt that meets the AR57 specifications. Have form 4and will supply a copy of necessary.

I may be saying something stupid because I'm not too familiar with the AR57 platform, but can't you bring a standard semi-auto bolt to a good gunsmith and see what he can do? Or would it mess up with the legality of your build?
Anyways, one of my colleagues does have an AR57, I'll see if he has an idea about where to find that.

Have you tried to contact AR57 center? If not, on there contact page send an email to Tammy. She is pretty good at responding to emails relatively quick. I have contacted her myself off and on in the last few months.

If this post is still valid and you are looking for an AR57 bolt, hit me up.

Not 100% sure how this site works since I just joined, but I can help.

The lack of a FA bolt is the only that kept from buying one of the AR57 uppers.

If they have been made available, I might look into a 10-12" upper again.

I’ve got a first Gen 5.7 upper. If you still have a full auto bolt please let me know.

Thanks
